OTA Updates

LobstaBox supports over-the-air updates for both the Lobsta software and LobstaOS.

Automatic Updates

If auto-update is enabled (default), LobstaBox periodically checks for and applies updates.

During an update:

• LED shows 🔵 blinking blue
• The Lobsta container is stopped, updated, and restarted
• Typical downtime: 1–3 minutes

Manual Updates

From the web interface at http://lobstabox.local:

1. Navigate to Settings → Updates.
2. Click Check for Updates.
3. If an update is available, click Install Update.
